Sammy grew up in Sydney with Egyptian parents, and drawing from this has blended a subtle mix of middle eastern and western influences into a distinctive sound that is his own. Sammy’s love of music and traditional cultures has taken him on extensive travels throughout the worlda nd his music is an evocative culmination of those experiences. He has the ability to take the listener on a journey without having to do more than close their eyes.
