Pretty frocks and pinstriped suits will fill the RUC Turner Bowling Club this Friday night for the third Old Timey Music Revue.
The night will open with Dr Leo Joseph, Canberra’s finest exponent of N’awlins piano classics.
Next up will be local dixie-punk-jazz outfit Moochers Inc. Fresh from performing at Queensland’s Woodford Folk Festival, Moochers Inc has established a reputation as one of Canberra’s most partiest party bands, inspiring frivolity and reckless dancing everywhere they play.
The night concludes with Sydney’s 1920s gypsy-swing-jazz heroes, Queen Porter Stomp. A band that will ignite your soul with lush vocals, raucous horn lines and swinging tunes, Queen Porter Stomp have stomped all over the east coast and return to Canberra to stomp some more.
Proudly presented by the Canberra Musicians Club.
