Drive safe these holidays Rioters! Remember it’s double demerits! Not than any of you ever do anything wrong while driving.

ACT Policing will join forces with NSW Police Monaro Local Area Command in support of Operation Crossroads this Easter holiday season, the fifth in an ongoing series of coordinated road safety initiatives to reduce road trauma across Australia and New Zealand.

The efforts by ACT Policing and the Monaro Command will mirror those of police throughout Australia in a national road safety campaign against dangerous driving coordinated by the national police agency, ANZPAA (Australia New Zealand Police Advisory Agency).

ACT Policing in co-operation with NSW Police will conduct high-visibility patrols on major arterial roads in and out of Canberra over the Easter holiday season as part of Operation Crossroads.

“Safe” is an adjective. The adverb you’re looking for is “safely”.

You’re welcome.

I doubt either of the cop cars in Canberra are going to give anyone too much grief.

Given the volume of traffic on the Kings Hwy exceeding the speed limit will be nigh on impossible during the peak periods.

I hardly think motorists are quaking in their thongs about ACT Policing being a threat to their fun, but watch out for those Quangers police (AKA Monaro LAC), they’re everywhere. One stunt they’ve become fond-of at holidays is setting up a giant caravan at the top of the Kings Hwy cutting (the new hill bit above Qbn) with white tables, and apparently that’s for drug testing. Last time they did it, they were there most of the day and seemed to get quite a haul.

They’re pretty motivated about holidays.
