UPDATE: Felicity Loiterton wanted in connection to alleged hit and run of police officer

UPDATE 9:15 am – Police have issued a wanted alert for Felicity Loiterton in relation to an alleged hit and run incident at the ANU campus on Monday afternoon (10 July).

It’s alleged the 30-year-old deliberately drove a red Audi directly at a police officer, knocking him off his feet, after being directed to stop.

She’s described as being of Caucasian appearance and has short black hair.

Felicity has been urged to present herself to police.

Anyone with information about Felicity’s whereabouts has been urged to contact ACT Policing Communications on 131 444, quoting reference 7479060.

If you see Felicity, do not approach her but instead call police immediately.

7:30 am – A police officer has suffered what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries following an incident involving a red Audi on the ANU campus.

The on-foot officer had directed the car to stop, as it was being driven with a flat tyre, on the university grounds at about 4:25 pm on Monday (10 July).

It’s alleged the vehicle’s driver failed to stop before it was driven directly at the officer, colliding with him and knocking him off his feet.

The Audi then sped off.

Later that night the red Audi was found in Cook.

Police are still searching for the driver and passenger, with anyone who has information about the Audi’s occupants or the movements of the vehicle to get in touch by calling ACT Policing Operations on 131 444, quoting reference number P2176271.
