UPDATE: The man sought by police over an alleged incident at Hopscotch has been identified.
“The man we sought to identify today has presented himself to a police station this afternoon and is assisting with enquiries,” a police spokesperson said late on Thursday afternoon.
THURSDAY, 3 October: Police have released images of a man they wish to identify in relation to an incident at a popular Braddon bar from earlier this year.
ACT Policing said officers received a report of an incident that occurred at Hopscotch on Lonsdale Street on the evening of 16 March.
After reviewing security camera footage and considering witness statements, police are now seeking public assistance to identify a man who may be able to assist with the investigation.
“The man is described as Caucasian with facial hair. He was wearing leather shoes, jeans, a T-shirt and a cap. His sunglasses were hanging off the front of his t-shirt,” a police spokesperson said.
