Our small garden pond is choked full of plants and needs a cleaning-out by someone who knows what they are doing. Can anyone recommend someone who can do this work?

Cleaning pond is easy during spring. If there are small debris flowing on water you can easily capture them through net. Otherwise you need to drain whole water out of the pond. If you have fish inside the pond, keep them somewhere else. Rinse the whole pond, there might be algae too, don’t remove all of them, some algae are beneficial.

What is so hard about it that you and/or your partner can’t do it? Just drain the pond – by hand with a bucket or maybe syphon or pump it out – remove unwanted plants and refill pond. Seems pretty simple to me.
