I thought the little fella might get a kick out of this and, at $10 a ticket, no biggie if he didn’t like it.

I imagined I was the last person that would go to this sort of thing, but I remember being taken to the Turner Police Boys Club (as it was known then) to see Killer Carl Cox, Mario Milano and their ilk in World Championship Wrestling and loving it.

I have to say that, until the little man’s attention span waned, these blokes put on a very good show. They don’t take themselves seriously at all, which made for a preofessional looking event, and the boys showed some skills.

If you’ve got kids who love that WWE stuff on TV (and I’m sure this will spark a pissing contest about ‘violence on TV’) I would recommend this as a much cheaper option. It had a real old school community event feel about it.

I’m glad I went, well done to PWA Canberra

Is it just me, or does that poster make it look like these guys should be operating out of Fyshwick?
