Queanbeyan takeaway shop ram raided, ATM stolen

A stolen Lexus has been used to ram-raid a Queanbeyan takeaway shop and steal its ATM before it was found torched in Wright overnight, NSW Police said.

Two men allegedly rammed the store on Uriarra Road at approximately 1:40 am this morning (23 June) and entered through the damaged doors before taking the ATM and fleeing in the vehicle.

ACT Policing located the burnt-out car on Peter Cullen Way a short time later.

Stolen ATM

Police say two men ram raided a Queanbeyan store overnight and stole the ATM.

Police are investigating the incident and a crime scene has been established to forensically examine the vehicle and the ATM.
