The Raiders Weston Club has again been hit by robbers, with two men forcing their way into the club early Tuesday (6 February) and making off with a sum of cash.

ACT Policing said police received a call from an employee of the Raiders Club Weston at about 4.30 am stating two men had forced entry into the club and demanded cash.

Police said the staff member complied with the demands and the two men left the club in the employee’s vehicle with a sum of money.

Police believe that the two men were not acting alone and used several stolen vehicles during the incident including a white Mitsubishi Triton utility, a green Hyundai Excel and a silver Proton sedan. These vehicles were seen on Drakeford Drive at about 4.15 am.

This the third time in two years that the club has been targeted by thieves.

Police are urging anyone who may have dash cam footage or any information regarding the stolen vehicles, or the incident itself to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
