Sometimes our fine city can look distinctly un-Canberra. By un-Canberra I refer to those moments when the freshly occupied becomes softened through use and time … when the paving stones ripple and the place looks well … lived in.
For the technically minded the picture was shot using a Mamiya 645 Super medium format camera using Ilford FP4 125 film of indeterminate expiry. It was also Autumn but I figured a rainy day is a good day to share a rainy day image.
😀 Lovely shot! Black and white photography is a wonderful thing in the hands of someone who know’s what they’re doing.

Cheers. These two have likely just walked out of a post office if that helps… 😉
Beautiful shot. Thanks Geoff. Now my new wallpaper.. but, uhh .. is doing that a copyright infringement?
I noticed that in the tags. But where, where? I probably should recognise it . .
It really is great use of bad weather and b&w!

Yes. But where is it then?
Whenever I see Lushpup’s got a picture up, I make sure to click and look. Nice atmospherics, London or Paris even.
