Relay for Life. Another Cancer Council Event

This Saturday is the Relay for Life event being held at the AIS Athletics track. The event starts at 4pm Saturday and concludes 3pm Sunday.

If you have never seen this before then pop in and have a look. These people are here to celebrate the life of people who defeated cancer and to remember the lost ones. It can be very emotional and also very rewarding.

So, if you are in the area or are going to the Raider’s match then pop in and say hi to everyone. There will be a few thousand people inside the venue and they would love to see you there.

I do believe this deserves it’s own separate http://www.the-riotact.com post. JohnBoy, would that be okay to promote this on Riot ACT and get some further donations and maybe accompaniment to this troop? I had no idea these guys were going to be rocking up, but more than happy to chip in a bit more dosh to hear them play some tunes.
