Taylor Swift fans will finally get the chance to sing ‘Love Story’ together in all its cathartic glory this Friday when the On Repeat: Fearless party rolls into Kambri. In all seriousness, these parties are a wonderfully unironic opportunity to share the soundtrack to your formative years with a room full of like-minded stans.
Canberra rockers Charlotte and The Harlots are making a spontaneous appearance at The Basement this Thursday for their first official show of the year. They’ll be joined by Enfants, Yoko Oh No, and Bad Lunar in what is set to be a reintroduction to one of the most exciting local bands to pop up in recent years.
Over at Gang Gang Cafe in Downer, Super Rats are preparing a 90-minute set for their Winter Revels dinner and concert on Saturday. Expect European melodies, a 145-stringed cimbalom, and generally excellent vibes from this quintessentially Canberran outfit.
And as we’ve been recommending lately (but wish we didn’t have to), in case COVID picks up, it’s best to check with venues beforehand to avoid disappointment.
