Illawarra rockers OK Hotel had a breakout year in 2020, and they’re embarking on a national tour to kick-off 2021. Catch them at University of Canberra’s The Well bar on Saturday night alongside locals Sesame Girl and Parklands.

Formerly the solo project of singer-songwriter Jamie Leone, Tourmaline has emerged as a fully-fledged Canberra supergroup in its own right. Featuring some of the most prolific musicians in town, the four-piece is set to launch their now year-old single at Gang Gang Cafe this Saturday. They’ll be joined by Nina Leo and HYG.

Sunday sees Gang Gang hosting another all-local lineup with Homegrown Sounds’ Sound of the Suburbs series returning once again. Lily Morris, Jim Dusty and Drive Safe are all gearing up to play. Cooma-born indie pop artist Aya Yves is also performing on Sunday, launching her new EP What We Look Like With The Lights On at Smith’s Alternative.
