Canberra’s own post-rock quintet Lost Coast is gearing up for a Sunday evening show at sideway. They’ll be playing songs from their 2020 self-titled album as well as favourites from across their catalogue. Joining them on the L-themed bill are velvet enthusiasts Lady Denman and math rockers Like Foxes.
Citizen Kay will be performing new and old tracks when he appears at Fiction Club on Friday night to celebrate his latest release ‘Don’t Blink’. The plan is for the rapper to delve deep into the journey so far and chat about some of the stories behind his long and winding career. Supported by Shaka J, this intimate event will be a window into one of the city’s finest.
Elsewhere, punks legends The Hard-Ons, jazz guitar virtuoso Viktor Rufus, and indie roots act Northbourne Flats are all taking to the stage throughout the week. On Thursday night, catch Betty Alto and Peach Lane co-headlining at Smith’s Alternative.
