Arnhem Land five-piece King Stingray has quickly made a name as one of the most electric bands in the country, both live and on record. Their national tour finally hits Canberra this week. Catch them at Kambri on Saturday night alongside Ziggy Ramo and locals dog world.

After a couple of false starts, Julia Jacklin‘s string of intimate solo shows is going ahead. This is a rare chance to catch Jacklin’s stunning songwriting in its most pure form. She’ll be performing at The Playhouse on Wednesday evening.

Elsewhere this week, Ainslie Arts Centre’s Ainslie Salon series continues on Saturday with Turns and Phrases: an evening of piano music, sideway hosts the inaugural portal ambient music event, and Sly Withers hits UC Hub with support from Teenage Joans and Noah Dillon.
