The finest blues party band in the Territory is back with a vengeance this weekend. Snake Oil Preachers is bringing their electric live show to Smith’s Alternative on Saturday as part of the bookshop-turned-venue’s Spring Series. The program is set to bring life back to the Smith’s stage all through November as a host of the city’s most beloved acts perform live for the first time in months. It continues on Sunday with an afternoon appearance from East Row Rabble.

Live music is back at sideway as well. The East Row bar is playing host to their weekly band nights once again. Catch Humdinger there alongside psych-rockers HYG on Thursday evening from 6:00 pm. Entry is free.

Jazz is also on the cards in speakeasy’s and bars around the city with Molly, Hippo, Blackbird, Smith’s Alternative and the National Press Club all celebrating the return of their regular jazz nights.
