The Shaking Hand’s Shake Appeal is set to continue this week as Burntout Bookings provide the soundtrack to your Thursday night. You’ll be able to catch Muscle Mary, The Dirty Sunflowers, and Nonbinarycode in the Akuna Street bar from 8 pm.
Geoff’s Jazz is getting ready to return to Smith’s Alternative this week. On Wednesday night Flautist Cicilia Kemezys will be presenting Kind of Flute, a set of lesser-known Latin jazz works from Brazil and Cuba.
Local punk favourites Box Dye are gearing up for their Just Stopping By tour this week. They’ll be hitting The Shaking Hand alongside Billy Punton and The Mental Health Plan, The Sweaty Bettys, and Stella Eve on Friday night.
