After making a welcome return to hosting live music last week, the Polish White Eagle Club in Turner is set to host yet another huge night of local music with The Barren Spinsters, Tshitaki, Blissphorus and The Absentee gearing up to perform there on Friday evening.

Canberra Symphony Orchestra continues its 2021 program this weekend with the first concert in its Chamber Classics series. Across two sittings on Sunday evening, the orchestra will pare back to a five-piece ensemble to pay homage to two Romantic masters in Clara Schumann and Franz Schubert. It’s a wonderful way for newcomers to dip their toes into the world of classical music.

Expect a number of different takes on rock music at sideway this Thursday. The East Row bar is keeping to their promise of hosting live acts from around town week in, week out. This Thursday sees Signs & Symbols, Lost Coast and Parklands taking to the intimate upstairs stage.
