Saturday night at Transit Bar is shaping up to be a bittersweet affair with Canberra’s own glitch-hop duo Mondecreen preparing to play their final show. The pair have been mainstays on lineups across the city and around the country for years. Don’t miss this last chance to catch certified bops like ‘Travel In Style’ and ‘Losin’ It’ live.

They’re playing in support of Sydney-based Canberra export Sonny Grin, a multi-instrumentalist and producer, alongside Duna and Mulk.

American DIY punk band Crywank are also set to play their final Canberra show this Saturday at the Mulgara Homestead. The band have been pioneers of the DIY ethos for a decade, and their influence is felt widely in Australia’s punk circles. Don’t get put off by the abrupt name; this band are all about wholesome, inclusive vibes and you can expect their performance to be filled with emotion and infectious passion for the power of sharing music with friends.

Canberra Symphony Orchestra offers up a change of pace this week as the final ActewAGL Llewellyn Hall concerts of the year takes place. Featuring Italian-born cellist Umberto Clerici and a program of works from 19th and 20th Century masters, this is a fantastic opportunity to dive into the challenging world of classical music.
