Meet our lovable pets of the week looking for forever homes at the RSPCA ACT Shelter!
Asher and Cynthia are this week’s friendly Pets of the Week! These lovely animals are waiting to find their perfect match. Think that could be you? Read more about them below!
Dog of the Week: Asher
Introducing Asher, a good old-fashioned Aussie cattledog. This little guy is sensational, he’s going wherever it is you’re going and that’s just the way it is.
He’s as loyal as it gets, in fact our staff think Asher should be named “James Bond” because he’s not just loyal, he’s also devoted to the cause (you my friend, you are the cause) and focused.
He’ll need attention because of his love for people, so leaving him unattended for hours isn’t ideal.
Don’t underestimate his affection – he’ll certainly be wary and tell you what he thinks about strangers.
Asher is clever and he’ll adjust and settle into your home and family lifestyle quite easily. Come and say hi, he’ll be your new friend for life, guaranteed.
Cat of the Week: Cynthia
Cynthia is special. She is so affectionate it truly needs to be experienced to understand. She loves you and you haven’t even met yet.
Cynthia in fact has been described as “the epitome of sweetness and charm in feline form”. This young cat’s affectionate nature knows no bounds, as she eagerly showers love and warmth upon everyone she meets.
Now if you don’t want that affectionate feature in a cat, we have a lot of questions.
She’s already a perfect pet – great with children and she’ll happily and quickly adjust to not being the only furry family member.
Seriously, hands up who wants cosy snuggles, love, friendliness, and endless affection? Cynthia will be the perfect addition to your loving home.
Paw note: The adorable kelpie Benji who appeared here last week has been adopted. Thank you for your support and spreading the word about the work we do and our pet-ready adoptable animals.
