The Salvation Army are putting on their annual Tuggeranong based Christmas celebration Carols in Town Park on Sunday the 15th.

This event has grown significantly over the last three years to become one of the largest community Christmas events in Canberra. This year the Vikings Group are again the main supporter, but have been joined by the Hyperdome, McDonalds, Limelight Cinemas and Communities@Work to help support this growing event.

Carols in Town Park is a family friendly event with kid’s activities starting at 5pm with jumping castles, pony rides, the Waterballs and farm animals. And there is a chance of a visit from Santa! The community carols kick off at 7pm led by the Tuggeranong Salvation Army Brass Band, the ABC 666 Community Choir and local artist, Katie de Veau.
