If your mate is still waiting for you to pay them back for your 2017 ticket, maybe scoring the two of you a double pass to GTM 2018 will help them forgive you.

Missed out on tickets for GTM this year? Fear not. Thanks to the amazing team over at UC Refectory, we’re giving away a double pass to see Alex Lahey, Ball Park Music, Sampa the Great, Paul Kelly, and so many more hit the paddock on Sunday April 29*.

All you have to do to be in the running is let us know which local act you would love to see on the lineup in 2019 and why. There are a frankly ridiculous number of Canberra acts to choose from – from Slagatha Christie to Weirdo Gvng – so dust off your crystal ball and think about what Canberra’s live music landscape is going to look like in 12 months time.

Leave your answer in the comments below and, if we love what you’ve got to say, we’ll be in touch.

Which local act you would love to see on the Groovin the Moo lineup in 2019 and why?

* Entries close 6 pm on Wednesday 25th April 2018. Winner will be notified on Thursday morning.
All correct entries will be put into a hat and one pulled out. The lucky winner will be notified on Thursday morning.

That’s a tough one as Canberra is home to many excellent bands. Maybe East Row Rabble for their fine funky tunes. Or Soduim Sunday just because (if they are still together ) Maybe we will see some new bands forming after the next Girls Rock Camp!

Turquoise Prince – flamboyant rapper and singer. I wanna see him back at GTM

Mondecreen – witty name and even better tunes and lyrics. Big fan

The Aston Shuffle are great local artists. Mikah and Vance are great guys and they have great house party vibes

I reckon Ball Park Music will be the act to see as their sound is phenomenal and they reach to a younger audience.

Dana Hassall’s chilled acoustic session would be perfect during the early afternoon over a few drinks in the sun.

Hi all….my daughter has unfortunately fallen victim to a scammer and is out of pocket 2 x GTM Canberra tickets and $300!….The lowlife has apparently set up a bogus Facebook page and claimed to be selling tickets. My daughter paid the required monies (in good faith) and has not received a thing!…We have tried making contact with the person via email with nil responses. My daughter had been saving up for the event and now thanks to this lowlife has to miss out….Not Happy…

Weirdo Gvng would be the act I’d like to see as hearing his orsm music on the radio & then finding out he was from Canberra was very great.

I am old and don’t get out much but I would love to get out and see Paul Kelly and see all the young folks get up to shenanigans. Pick me
