Community Brainstorming session, Saturday 9 May

Tuggeranong Action Group (TAG) is a new grassroots organisation established to advocate and represent the interests of the Tuggeranong Valley. We are proud to live in Tuggeranong, and aim to get locals more actively involved in the decisions affecting our community.

Last fortnight, TAG held two public information sessions to tell the community about our group, and what we hope to achieve this year. These events were really useful as they showed us that locals are open to initiatives to make community life in Tuggeranong better, a lot of useful feedback on what TAG should be as a group, and what kind of projects or ideas would benefit the local community.

On Saturday 9 May, TAG is holding a public brainstorming session for local residents to have their say on how they’d like to improve community life in Tuggeranong. This information will help identify what kind of projects TAG could get involved in this year, to make Tuggeranong an even better place to live.

We are looking for Tuggeranong residents from all backgrounds to contribute ideas. events and projects that would increase community pride and spirit, improve social connections and a sense of belonging in our local area.

These ideas can be big or small, low-cost or big-budget – we just want to hear from you and what you would like to see improved in the Tuggeranong region.

Come along to our event next Saturday, and help us by sharing your thoughts on bettering our community. Please also share this event widely with your Tuggeranong friends and contacts.
