For ages 12 – 15

3 Half Days of Singing and Songwriting

No Previous Musical Experience Necessary

Monday January 18th – Wednesday January 20th 2015

small workshop –  5 places ONLY  (and I have 3 spots left)

 10am – 1.00pm for 3 days

         SINGING MODULE

  • Singing Fears NO-MORE:  FEAR SQUASHING Tools for Teens
  • Free STYLING:  Discover your Improv VOICE
  • Unlock songwriting 
  • YOUR VOICE:  Making friends and even learning to ‘like’ your own voice
  • WARM-UP:  warming up your voice doesn’t have to be boring.
  • Matching pitch : what’s the secret of singing in tune
  • Using the “FOCUSED-Breath” – for singing and speaking.
  • How being a beginner can be a GOOD thing
  • Learn to use a microphone and get comfortable with the idea of ‘performing’ 

SONGWRITING MODULE

  •  Building Blocks For Song Creation
  • PAPER & AIR: The Magical-Mystery of Song Ideas
  • MAKING NOTES:  Writing together
  • How to write your stories in song
  • What’s so great about your favorite singers and songwriters? Lets find out
  • SENSE-Based Songwriting: What you can see, hear, smell, touch and taste
