Holding your own fundraising event can be fun and is an easy, and effective way to raise awareness of the Snowy Hydro SouthCare Rescue Helicopter.
It’s a simple way to make a difference in your community.
Most people don’t realise how often their local rescue helicopter flies overhead – in December 2011 the helicopter attended over 45 missions, that’s an average of two mission per day.
Your fundraising event can be ongoing or a one-time activity where the money raised goes directly towards keeping Snowy Hydro SouthCare in the air saving lives.
Events can range from:
- morning/afternoon teas
- luncheons
- BBQ
- trivia night
- speciality dinner
- sporting event
- your very own idea!
