The next concert of local a cappella group Capital Voices will take place on Sunday 6 July at 3pm, at the Holy Cross Anglican Church, Hackett

In “Songs of Love and Nature”, Capital Voices nimbly leaps over five centuries of music, starting with medieval madrigals and moving to Saint-Saëns, Brahms and even Canberra’s own Wilfrid Holland.

“Songs of Love and Nature” will make you laugh with “Contrapunto Bestiale” and “Il est bel et bon”, be swept away by the romance of “Mon cœur se recommande à vous” and “The Choyce” and be filled with the peaceful joy of “Calme des nuits”. Whether your love is the gracious harmonies of Brahms, the intricate rhythms of Josquin des Prez, or the exciting vocal complexities of Holland, this concert has something for almost everyone.

Tickets are $20, Concession: $15 and Children $10.
