Thats not Cricket

The PM’s XI match held in November is now to be moved to 30 Jan 2008 so that there won’t be any conflict with possible election campaigns in November according to this News article.

With the Australia Day long weekend probably to be on the Monday and then the PM’s XI on the Wednesday, whats the likelihood of seeing people come into work on the Tuesday between? In fact may as well take the whole week off by that stage.

che… you’re confusing what you have to do to get the public service fortnightly attendance bonus with real work in the real world.

Good move. Now Rudd won’t be rushed to make his selections for the team.
