The Fashion and the Flowers

It’s the first week of Floriade, and although the tulips are not yet in full bloom, the fashions on the field more than make up for that. It was great to see so many locals and visitors getting into the spirit in bright and floral attire. Here are some of my favourites:

IMG_5752
Ivy from Sydney sporting red roses and a pearl-embelished skirt.

IMG_5787
Emily Forato of Downer looking fresh in a bright floral dress, green cardigan and red ballet flats.

IMG_5774
William Tregey and Alaska Hutchinson of Queanbeyan looking way too cute in retro Hawaiian prints and white daisies.

IMG_5795
Mrs Khan of Dandenong in a vibrant pink dress and complementary green head-scarf.

IMG_5828
Sam DonBarber of Belconnen and Britt McNicol of Ngunnawal in checks, daisies and casual-cool footwear.

Which is your favourite spring-inspired outfit? And what will you be wearing to Floriade this year?
