At around 1045hrs this morning, one of the construction workers on the old Sirius building site, there was a minor incident involving a heavy roller, some kerbing, and an urban water main.
It resulted in the following (images to come) water fountain, which went for a good 15 minutes.
I have no idea how much water flows through these things, but 15 minutes of waste at enough pressure to shoot ten storeys into the air is probably quite a lot.
Expect footage on WIN News tonight, with either:
a) a bunch of public servants complaining about the waste of water,
b) a politician complaining about the waste of public money in letting public servants watch accidents, or
c) Hargreaves explaining how we should all vote for him in upcoming elections because he puts on unscheduled fountain shows, and the Opposition (should they get into power) will be more likely to take away our right to such things.
