I’ve had the following in from the High Court which may interest some of you:

‘String Theory’ and Peace

The High Court’s public hall is a spacious light filled venue which is open to visitors for a free Sunday afternoon concert and AusAID exhibition on Sunday (17 October 2010), noon to 4pm.

‘String Theory’, an ANU string quartet, will perform 2.45pm to 3.45pm. Natalia Harvey and Tobias Chisnall on violins, Brian Tam on viola and Darsha Rama Kumar on cello will perform Beethoven’s String Quartet No 1 in F, Op 18 and Mendelssohn’s String Quartet in Es, Op 12.

To mark the 10th anniversary of United Nations Security Council Resolution 1325 on Women, Peace and Security, AusAID is hosting Women and War – an International Committee of the Red Cross photographic exhibition which will also be on display. The exhibition runs until 5 November 2010.
