The omnipresent Glen McCrea. Who is he?

It’s not you. I, too, live in the electorate and often see Glen at the shops, which is not a surprise—looking at his mobile office schedule on his Facebook page, he is holding a lot of them.

I spoke to him at one about his opinion piece in The Canberra Times about the NDIS. http://www.canberratimes.com.au/opinion/i-saw-my-parents-pain-and-tears-20120729-235wh.html He seemed like a nice chap, and is clearly very passionate about improving the lives of people with a disability.

If a candidate is prepared to openly flout the law to get elected, what will they do if they are elected?

Met Glen McCrea at Charnie shops. Seemed to a bit about disability and answered by questions about Belco roads.

He does have a lot of blue signs though haha

I don’t know you and I don’t know anything about Glen, but I assume you think you know better and could do more for our community (from a political sense) than he?

TAMS did give policing it a go when it first started up this year http://www.canberratimes.com.au/act-news/act-liberals-to-pay-the-price-for-breaching-sign-regulations-20120723-22kz5.html but the penalty only appears to apply if you want the signs back.

City Rangers have been patrolling Canberra for the past eight weeks to impound incorrectly placed political signage. City Rangers will continue this work in the lead-up to the election.

Well, he’d be right at home amongst Gallagher, Birch, Barr and Corbell.

He does seem to get around a fair bit. He did a door knock awhile back to introduce himself and seemed nice enough. I was impressed with his knowledge of somewhat dated music when he noticed my lame band t-shirt. Though we didn’t actually talk about anything even remotely related to politics aside from the fact that he was with Labor
