Canberra’s favourite music tradition, the RiotACT Gig Guide, is back once again for your viewing pleasure!
This week’s photo features The Black Horses, an incredible alt-country duo whose songs have been on constant rotation on LocalnLive for many a lonesome moon. They will be playing as a special guest before Mitch Power on the 13th at the Front Gallery and Cafe.
There is an enormous lineup ready to go on Friday at The Basement, featuring acts such as White Phosphorus, Blackheart, The Ganesayers and Hopeless Youth Group, the latter of which is an energetic psych-punk outfit that folks had better keep an eye on for big things. The Trojans grace CBR as part of their ‘End of an Era’ tour along with SET ON END and Kitten Hurricane at Transit Bar on the same night, while over at the Phoenix, Signs & Symbols launch their EP with a little help from Marlon Bando and Lost Coast.
The next night at the Phoenix PTSD will be launching their latest in tape format alongside Ill Winds, Dog Name and Sob Story, while over at the Street Theatre Kim Churchill will be on from 7.30 pm. Wanna know more? Just check out the details for this and many other shows below!
