It’s been nearly a year since Sputnik Sweetheart (pictured) joined together, but they’ve already had a whirlwind career, having opened for British India and The Tipsy Scholars, as well as releasing their indie rock classic, Love You Best, in September, which you can hear here. Check them out this Saturday as they open for Joyce Manor and Azim Zain & His Lovely Bones.
Also on Friday, Perth rapper Drapht will be in town, playing at the UC Hub with JessB and Yibby from 8 pm, while over at Mr Wolf, TroyBoi from London will be taking the stage with Strides and Nay Nay from 8 pm.
On Saturday, Capital Brewing Co. have a huge day lined up – One Day In The Capital – featuring a huge line-up of music, including Turquoise Prince, Sophiegrophy, Reggi Gibbs and much more, all kicking off from 11.30 in the morning. Later on in the day, local indie band Small Talk will be launching their new EP, Blossom, at Transit Bar, playing with Capital Breakfast Club, Lady Denman and Charlotte & The Harlots, all setting sail from 8 pm.
