The Fuelers are Canberra’s hardest working wackobilly band – if you haven’t seen them round the traps, do yourself a favour! Try your hand at The Beer Cactus and The Wheel of Fate this Friday from 9 pm at The Phoenix!
Thursday is Soundscapes night again, with Maria Moles and Adam Halliwell coming all the way from Melbourne – show starts 9.30 pm at Smith’s. Also on Thursday night, Brisbane pop-punkers Flangipanis will be playing with Sketch Method, Fight Milk and Slagatha Christie from 8 pm.
Friday night, head on over to the Basement for KREWDBits: Banging At The Basement, which has promised to be a night that is “feminist, funny, queer, sex-positive… but mostly silly”, featuring some of the ACT’s best in burlesque (Possum Galore, Eremurus Rex) plus a Queen tribute band!
