Corunna Farm at Corunna is one of those rare properties which represents a generational opportunity for a landmark holding on the sought after far south coast of NSW.
Fronting Corunna Lake on Mystery Bay Road, Corunna, this 31-acre beachside property is located on the coastline between Narooma and Bermagui, and the price guide is around $5.9 million.
Corunna Farm has a main residence and a detached resort-style function centre which is the central building, and eight detached yurts nestled in the established gardens.
Positioned to maximise both privacy and views, the main residence surveys the coastline, lake environment and Tilba hinterland from an elevated location.
With five bedrooms and three bathrooms, open plan living and plenty of space for a large family, the home is set over two levels. The open plan living/dining/kitchen is the heart of the home, providing plenty of room for all family members with functional, spacious simplicity.

The kitchen has an island bench with a breakfast bar designed to connect the home chef to family and friends, and it opens onto the alfresco dining and looks out to sea over the parkland acreage and tennis court.
Polished timber floors provide an aesthetically pleasing and easy to clean surface, and panoramic north-facing views of the landscape and ocean through glass doors onto the veranda provide a beautiful and unmatched living experience.
The five-bedroom main residence can be configured as a three-bedroom home, with a one or two-bedroom self-contained flat. The home’s ground floor also houses the formal lounge and four bedrooms, and upstairs the master bedroom suite with a walk-in robe and ensuite has an unparalleled ocean view. With council approval, a second dwelling can be built on the property.

The function centre currently operates as a venue and provides excellent income potential. There is a main function room, games room, bedroom, a serious commercial kitchen with a big coolroom and servery window, as well as separate women’s and men’s toilet facilities. Alfresco dining is easy, with outdoor decking and verandahs providing perfect views of the landscape and gardens.
With eight yurts (five of which have ensuites), the property is ideal for anything from a yoga retreat to a wedding venue, with myriad photo opportunities for couples.
There is a boatshed near the water, and an enormous machinery shed closer to the house. The machinery shed has a mezzanine level, an office and a shower room, and sits near the enclosed vegetable garden and an orchard with a wide variety of well-established fruit trees.

Decking from the boatshed fronts straight onto the water, providing easy access for kayaking or boating. The tennis court provides another option for residents or visitors who have energy to burn after kayaking around the estuary. Three dams on the property provide ample fresh water for irrigation and stock.

“Beachside, rural property of this calibre is definitely a rare commodity, and it will only get harder to find since this sort of idyllic lifestyle is increasingly sought after,” said Marshall and Tacheci Real Estate principal Robert Tacheci.
“As you’d expect, we’re seeing the market strengthen for this type of scarce property. It’s worth noting the far south coast offers beautiful, unspoiled, uncrowded lakes and beaches, and great liveability, with unique regional foods, wine, and fresh seafood.
“Corunna Farm is within a day’s drive of three capital cities, yet you can feel like you’ve suddenly arrived a world away in some other idyllic time,” said Mr Tacheci.
“At the moment the prawns are running at Corunna, there are great waves on the beach opposite, and this home is one of those perfect opportunities to experience nature and be enthralled by the everchanging coastal surroundings.”
Corunna Farm is five minutes from Narooma for shopping and the charm of the National Trust village of Central Tilba, or 20 minutes from the small village of Bermagui with its boutique shops, cafes and restaurants, and the Bermagui wharf complex.

Kara Youngentob I've been here on a yoga retreat. It's gorgeous!
Kara Youngentob how much each?
Alison Procter the million dollar question. Or part thereof. :). Given we are not quite one year into a mortgage, there's not a huge amount of money floating around to buy into commune life. :/
Alison Procter, it depends on how many people interested. Ideally, somewhere in the 750k range. It’s 31 acres so it would be good to know council laws too. If subdivision was allowed, it’s possible it could make money in the long run and 8 families or so would need to invest in the short term for an acreage block in the long term that cost a few years worth of interest split across the families for the loan to make it happen. These opportunities require Captain Property Lawyer to come to the rescue.
We could all move in with Nik!!!😳😁
Elliott Bowyer Felicity Ayers investment for Nikki??
