White Wolf Online has this snippet on the Continental Championships of Vampire: The Eternal Struggle to be held on October 2nd in Canberra. For all those still following the CCG path I’m sure there will something for everyone.

I blame JB for my CCG collection, but damn don’t we all wish we could have been in on the start of MTG way back when in 1991?

Fair enough, but not my sort of thing….

Then you don’t play collectible card games.

My bafflement matches yours whenever someone posts about football et al. So I skip those posts.

I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.

Talking to people who were in on the original WOTC dev teams for MTG, they were indeed the heydays. Until everything got sold up and washed out after the pokemon/D20 craze.

Not unrelated is that my mate who owns the Turkish in Gunghalin pulls out his several boxes of MTG cards of a Saturday evening and plays a few rounds with mates, booze and good food. Top bloke, top place for nosh.

‘pologies to JB for that wee bit ‘o’ soliciting.
