Champing at the bit to grab the mic? Here’s your chance…

Canberra’s community radio station 2XX is one of Australia’s longest running community broadcasters, on air since 2 July 1976. Originally broadcasting on the AM band, 2XX moved to 98.3FM in 2000 and in 2005 moved in to brand spanking new purpose-built studios in the new Griffin Centre in Canberra City.

2XX currently has vacancies available as on-air presenters for an established radio show with a small team. Full training will be provided to new members of the team.

While there was a draft policy to bring in fees for some programs, it doesn’t apply to the program for which we are currently seeking presenters.

I did hear that 2xx presenters were about to be asked to find sponsors for their show, or cough up some dough themselfs. Anyone know anymore ?
