At Aranda bushland this morning walking the dogs, I was taken by the amazing displays of wild flowers there. I was surprised to notice that some of the grass, which is now over five foot high in places, had got in on the act and were in bloom with lovely delicate red and orange flowers. I mentioned this to the mother in law (in the distance a dog howls at the moon) who has lived in Canberra for 40+ years and she says it’s the first time she’s seen it. Anyone else noted it before?
