Just been for a walk through Weston Park and I noticed there are not as many kangaroos, only a few small ones with ear tags and collars. Are they reducing the numbers? I know it is a popular spot for kids and visitors to see them.

Rest assured. They are all there. However I now notice that they ones that rest in the pinoak plantation have ear tags and some have collars. I honestly don’t know how one tags kangaroos as they cannot be herded. Does anyone know anything more about this? I do have pics, but do not know how to load them.

I think you might’ve added a zero to your count.
There were a gazillion there when I visited last week!
I was wondering the same last week. But there are some workmen doing something there, noisy and they don’t like that. They do hide very well when lying in the grass and keeping very still.
