A woman has been freed from wreckage after a two-vehicle accident in Chisholm this morning and will be taken to The Canberra Hospital in a stable condition.
The ACT Ambulance Service and ACT Fire & Rescue were alerted to the accident involving a car and a truck on the corner of Benham and Halley Streets at 7.11am.
Rescue workers had freed the woman by 7.55am.
Firefighters had to remove a door from the wreckage to give intensive care paramedics access to the woman so they could stabilize her before removing her from the vehicle.
