Zierholz in Belconnen?

There’s a piece in The Canberra Times today about Zierholz opening a second brewery-cafe in Belconnen. This is possibly the best news in the newspaper this morning, if not this week!!

Does anyone know where in Belconnen this will be? By the lake, possibly?

My only gripe is that it will be in Belconnen and not in Gungahlin…we desperately need a place like Zierholz in Gungahlin – is it too late to change their mind? (Thank God we have the George Harcourt Inn, though.) But still, something else, in Gungahlin itself, even (or especially) down by Yerrabi Pond or Gungahlin Pond, would be brilliant.

Fantastic news about Zierholz, however; more power to them!

Non-drinking uni students? When I went to UC (admittedly some time ago) the uni bar was usually steady, and nuts busy on Thursday nights.

People who live in Gungahlin sure do complain a lot.

Back before the Tuggeranong Hyperdome existed, for YEARS people had to go to Woden Plaza to shop and to access amenities

You choose to live in Gungahlin, you choose to live without essential services likes breweries.

If you wanted to live near amenities perhaps you shouldn’t have moved to hideous suburban hell hole?
