A little while ago we had a lovely discussion about Canberra Day moving to Monday 10 March from its proper position, St Patricks Day – well that makes this weekend a long weekend.

So what’s happening this weekend, did this come as a surprise, what will you be doing – the ususal whats on format really…

oh, and go and tell your neighbour, a family member, your work colleagues (assuming you’re not a dole bludger), a senior citizen, the bank teller, a teacher, a cleaner, a childcare worker, or anyone else in the community to “sod off”, and see how it goes down!!!!

Unoffensive you say? I think many others will disagree with you.

But then again, you have obviously been raised without any morals, values or common decency, so you won’t see it that way.

Goodbye! 🙂

My goodness gracious me … you ARE angry today Maelinar.

Something to do with your other thread getting so many negative responses perhaps? I think so.

CanberraResident – no, sod off isn’t a nasty comment you precious little flower of a girly handbag weilding princess.

Blackadder used to regularly inform Baldrick to sod off, right through the heart of BBC’s say no evil days is a prime example of how unoffensive the language is.

So sit back down, enjoy the ride, shut up, and if you don’t like it, sod off.

maelinar, so then … I gather you think the term “sod off” is not nasty?

The fact hoolahawk wrote “I mean this in the least offensive way possible”, doesn’t make it ok in the slightest.

Also, I can’t see how my words “Canberra Day should be celebrated on 12 March every year – the official birthday”, should or could deserve such a hostile response.

Please learn some respect and chill out, the both of you.

🙂

Did hear that New Christs were on at the Uni Friday. Can anyone confirm please.

That wasn’t really nasty, that was just an expression of opinion.

CanberraResident – the first nasty comment on this thread was you buster at 9:54 am. Learn to read.

I mean this in the least offensive way possible isnt being nasty.

Hoolahawk, just because you don’t agree with 12th March being Canberra Day (although it would make sense as it’s the OFFICIAL Canberra birthday), it doesn’t mean you have to be nasty.

I think you are an extremely unhappy person within yourself and I hope things start to change for you soon.

Good luck to you.

I’ll be celebrating Dan’s birthay without him.

Ill be not celebrating my birthday because they moved the long weekend one week back.

Bastards.

CanberraResident – I mean this in the least offensive way possible but re: your suggestion, you can sod off!

Getting drunk for whatever reason.

Canberra Day should be celebrated on 12 March every year – the official birthday.
