First up FlashMob Tag, Gorman House, 1.06pm Saturday. Bizarre yes but bound to be a bit of good old fashioned harmless fun. Don’t know what a Flash Mob is? Have a look here
Next are two gigs.
The first is the Servants Of Sound launch party. It’s a “Dance Party Extrordinaire” at The Venue from 9pm Saturday. I couldn’t find any links to the “Servants” that wasn’t a US band or corporate entity so if anyone have any further info about who is DJ’ing it etc let us know.
My pick is Indyfest ’08. Also Saturday, from 11am at the Basement in Belconnen and going all day/night there will be 19 odd bands plus loads of other stuff. My pick of the bands is Hancock Basement, Super Best Friends, GILF and Inflatable Ingrid. www.indyfest.com has all the details plus a run down with links and images of all the talent on the talent page no less. Should be awesome.
Unfortunately I’m missing it due to being out of town for my Great Aunt’s 100th birthday…
