Brumbies named for the big one on Saturday night

The Brumbies have announced their squad to play the NSW Waratahs in Sydney this weekend.

If they get the win they’re in as real contenders. A loss, well not so much.

The University of Canberra Brumbies have made two changes to their starting line-up, with Scott Sio named at loose-head prop and Scott Fardy returning from injury at lock.

Fardy hasn’t been seen in Brumbies colours since the South African block almost a month ago where he suffered and ankle injury, but has since recovered making his way through Canberra’s John I Dent Cup with Wests.

With Dan Palmer dropping from the University of Canberra Brumbies 22-man squad, Ruan Smith has been included on the bench for his first appearance in a Brumbies jersey.

Fardy in, Palmer out. I like the look of that.
