ACT Policing is investigating the death of a 20-year-old Belconnen man in Campbell early this morning.
Around 12.30am police were called to a disturbance at a Campbell residence.
Upon arrival police saw a man lying on the ground. It appeared he had been struck by a vehicle as it reversed.
ACT Ambulance Service attended the scene and conveyed the man to The Canberra Hospital where he died a short time later.
AFP Forensics Services and ACT Policing’s Collision Investigation and Reconstruction Team are in attendance and are processing the scene.
The driver of the vehicle is assisting police with inquiries.
Investigations are ongoing.
