But I think he needs a stay at the Hume Hilton more than a snickers. Lets see how our magistrates respond, presuming the person is found guilty. And if they show any consideration to the victims of the crime.

Agreed- my comment in hindsight was flippant. I too hope he gets some quality alone time in Gaol.

Was there anything they had that the scumbag couldn’t have replicated by shoplifting some tenderloins and a bag of MSG from Supabarn? Absolutely pitiful what some crims will do these days. If you’re going to harm a business and traumatise people, at least choose a target where the benefit is in some proportion to the cost.

It’s actually quite scary, the convention used to be that to avoid crime, you make the potential benefit too small to be tempting. But these days they’ll beat people up for a fiver.
