ACT Policing is investigating an aggravated robbery which occurred in Hawker last night (Thursday, August 29).
About 10.30pm a man entered the Liquor Legends store on Belconnen Way, Hawker armed with a knife.
He threatened staff, demanding cash. The staff member complied, giving the offender a sum of cash. The offender then fled on foot.
Police attended and searched the surrounding area but were unable to locate the offender. Police will analyse CCTV footage of the incident.
The man is described as Caucasian and about 6’0” (180-185cm) tall, aged around his thirties.
