Just what NZ needs. Another out of date, rusty warship to soak up it’s limited taxpayer funds.

Then we’d have to form the Friends of Jervis Bay and go and protest. And who knows what Stanhope would try and sneak in whilst we’re away

I’d like to see it shipped to canberra and placed on LBG near Kingston as a floating restaurant and night club venue.

You know it makes sense…

Surely the current scrap metal price demands it be cut up and sold off?

Having said that – I reckon military hardware should be used to boost tourism wherever possible. Look at the sub in the middle of Holbrook. A boon for the locals!
