On Saturday 10 October 2009 the Vietnam Veterans Motorcycle Club – Federal Chapter will host a fund raising “dice” run in aid of the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia (officially sanctioned event).
The motorcycle ride will commence at Murrumbateman at 10am (with early breakfast available from 8am on-site catered by the Vietnam Veterans Association) and will travel past Yass to Binalong, Harden, Young, Cowra before finishing at Boorowa about 5pm where BBQ and entertainment will be available. A pair of dice is rolled at each stop with the highest score (roll off if scores are tied) at the end.
Lots of other prizes including courtesty of Victory Motorcycles (who will have demo bikes on the ride) where a trip is being raffled going to Melbourne including airfares and accommodation for two people for two days. Other prizes include category and novelty prizes (such as best cruiser, best ladies bike etc). All skill levels and all types of registered bikes are welcome.
Leave bad attitudes at home and enjoy the fun. It is not a race and road rules will be obeyed. Police will be monitoring the event along with outriders from the club maintaining the legal speed and route. The Vietnam Veterans MC are not an outlaw or 1% club but made up of Vietnam Veterans and veterans of other conflicts in which the Australian military has been involved with along with associates and families.
300-400 riders are expected. $20 entry fee. Food at sensible prices. The beneficiary of this event, the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia will receive funds which will aid in the ongoing fight against that disease. Further details of the event can be found on our website, Vietnam Veterans Motorcycle Club – Federal chapter (VVMC Federal) including contact details for any questions/queries.
We hope to see you there assisting in raising funds for a worthy cause.
