Females from teenagers to over forties are invited to join Diamond Phoenix for a fun paddle on Lake Burley Griffin. Don’t worry if you’ve never tried a water sport before, we’ll help you get started.
Dragon boat racing is fast growing fun sport, with thousands of participants in over 60 countries. It’s a great way to build up fitness and make new friends, even if you’ve never done a team sport or water sport before.
We meet on the grass near the Yacht Club dirt carpark, Mariner Drive Yarralumla. Look for the team in red, black and yellow.
Bring: water bottle, quick drying clothes, shoes that can get wet, change of clothes and towel for after. All paddling equipment is provided.
